Monitoring Education Financing: Building Evidence to Strengthen Public Education Systems
The Education Financing Observatory (EFO), launched by the Global Campaign for Education in 2021, provides a platform to monitor, analyze, and advocate for stronger education financing systems. Through tracking key indicators like GDP allocation, national education budgets, and equity measures, the EFO generates data to inform policy and advocacy. The initiative fosters an evidence-based collective analysis from the movement’s perspective, on how these indicators have evolved since 2000, offering important insights as we approach 2030.
